20 shots!

First Homework!

On our first homework with the markings, we had to listen to our own music for an hour and do some of the things that were on the list.

I wrote the quote, "Buy this car to drive to work. Drive to work to pay for this car," 100 times.
Songs: Against the Grain, Body in a Box, and Sleeping Sickness by City and Colour
Wrote, "bad week" until it filled the page.
Songs: Sometimes, As Much as I Ever Could, and Waiting by City and Colour
Crumbled paper and drew in the lines.
Songs: Faithless and I Don't Need to Know by City and Colour

Human Dots

For my group's human dot project, we decided to use glow sticks and my camera's long exposure to make our dots. I think it turned out really well. I think we came up with a very unique idea.

These are my dots that we made with the glow sticks

I put them in black and white and also in color so you could see that we actually did use glow sticks. Overall, I think this was favorite part of this project. It gave me the chance to do what I love.

Some of my favorite madness projects

So these are some of my favorite out of the bunch. Overall, everyone did a great job. It was cool seeing what everyone came up with..

Amanda's- I love all the different ways the gems go.
P.S. I like the title.
Alexiah's- I love how it turned out. I also like how she used the lighting.
Ellen's- This was my favorite to shoot. I also loved all the different colors and the light she put in at the end
Liz's- Overall, the cutest project ever. I loved the title.

The process of the cups

These pictures were from the beginning. That was the first monster I built. At first, I thought it was ok, but then I got some feedback and they suggested that if I had the time maybe I should try to make a more effective monster. At this point, I still had no idea where I was going with this project but I decided to make a better monster. What did I have to lose?
And here it was. Definitely better, definitely BIGGER. But still I had no idea what to do next. So I decided to take a chance....

And that bold chance backfired. Oh well. I tried my best with what I had and the time I had. From the very beginning, I knew that I would like my end project but that's ok. There are many more projects that are to come and hopefully they will be directed towards my strengths. Just wait until you see our human dot project....
